GREEN BAY, Wis. — Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Kenny Clark sacked Jordan Love for a 10-yard loss in his return to Lambeau Field on Sunday night, but the Green Bay Packers beat Dallas 23-13.

Clark spent his first nine seasons with Green Bay before an August 2025 trade sent him to Dallas. He finished with 3 tackles, a sack, a tackle for loss, and a quarterback hit. Dallas fell to 2-4.

Kenny Clark On His Return To Green Bay

The Packers and Cowboys tied 40-40 in Arlington last season, so Sunday was the first meeting at Lambeau since the trade. Clark said he felt good going out there.

“Yeah, I mean, definitely special. On the wrong side of it, of course. But appreciative of the organization and just the environment, it was dope,” Clark said. “I knew it was gonna be a great environment and I just felt good going out there. I was excited, everybody on the team was excited, so it was a great environment to be in.”

Clark’s sack came on third-and-2 at the Green Bay 14 late in the third quarter, with Dallas trailing 20-7. It pushed Green Bay back to its own 4 and forced a punt. Clark was also flagged for a neutral zone infraction on the Packers’ opening touchdown drive.

Defensive tackle Quinnen Williams had a sack and 2 tackles for loss beside Clark. Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer said he wanted to watch the film before grading the night.

“I thought [Quinnen] was great today. This wasn’t a personnel change, but you felt him and Kenny Clark out there. I think that was really, really good,” Schottenheimer said.

Clark Says Third Downs Were The Story Of The Game

Green Bay converted 9 of 10 third downs in the first half and built a 17-0 lead. Clark said the mistakes Dallas made became big mistakes on third down.

“Yeah, especially in the first half. I think that was, like, the story of the game. We just didn’t get them off the field on third down enough,” Clark said. “Got to be better there at the end of the day. Can’t put ourselves in that situation. I think the second half did a little better, but definitely in that first half, they had momentum in that first half with all the third down conversions.”

Green Bay ran 26 times for 57 yards. Clark said Dallas did a little better on third down in the second half.

“I mean, I think it was better. I think everything was better. Just we got to, we got to keep trusting in our process, keep leaning on our work and coming back to work, just believe in each other. But just those mistakes, those mistakes end up being big mistakes when you talk about third down and all that kind of stuff. So definitely got a lot of stuff to clean up,” Clark explained. “The level we played the run today was physical at the point of attack, set edges. I think they had like 50-whatever yards today. But got to keep that up.”

“And then when we get in third down, passing situations, [got to] find a way to get off the field,” Clark continued. “But just believe in our process. Got to just keep stacking as far as the process.”

Dallas visits the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, Oct. 26, at Lincoln Financial Field. Kickoff is set for 7:15 p.m. CT on ESPN and ABC.
