DALLAS — The Dallas Mavericks announced seven new theme nights for the 2026-27 season on Wednesday. Single-game tickets go on sale Thursday, with Chase cardholders getting priority access at 10 a.m. CT and the general public able to buy starting at noon CT.
Each new theme night carries its own ticket pack, and the packs come with giveaways that are not available with a standard ticket. Featured concessions and in-arena entertainment tied to each theme are part of those games at American Airlines Center.
The first of the new nights lands Nov. 8. A Fourth Wing Ticket Pack that night includes a Mavs x Fourth Wing bomber jacket, and the game is also the Mavericks’ Pride Night. A portion of every Fourth Wing pack sold goes to The Trevor Project.
Harry Potter, Space Jam And Star Wars Nights Headline New Dallas Mavericks Theme Slate
December carries three of the seven. Harry Potter Night is Dec. 14, with a Mavs x Harry Potter hat in every special ticket pack and fans encouraged to dress in Hogwarts attire. Five days later comes the Holiday Game with PEANUTS on Dec. 19, which opens with a full pregame showing of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” on the big screen and includes photo opportunities with Snoopy. That ticket pack includes a light-up Snoopy bobblehead.
Space Jam Night follows Dec. 26, presented by Ticketmaster. Themed activations, giveaways, and an appearance by Bugs Bunny are part of the night, and the special ticket pack includes a Mavs x Space Jam Tune Squad jersey.
The Detroit Pistons visit for Anime Night on Jan. 29. Fans are encouraged to come in cosplay, and every special ticket pack includes an exclusive Mavs anime bomber jacket.
Hello Kitty Night on Feb. 2 includes a meet-and-greet with Hello Kitty and themed activations throughout the concourse. Every special ticket pack that night includes a mystery Mavs x Hello Kitty plush keychain.
Star Wars Night closes the new group on March 26 against the New Orleans Pelicans. Fan costumers will be on hand, fans are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite character, and the special ticket pack includes a Mavs x Star Wars baseball jersey.
Dallas Mavericks Annual Theme Nights Run Oct. 24 Through April 11
The Home Opener, presented by Chase, is Oct. 24, when Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs open Dallas’ home schedule for the third straight season. Breast Health Awareness Night, presented by UT Southwestern Simmons Cancer Center, follows Oct. 28 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The 2026 Cup Nights, presented by Dr Pepper, are Oct. 30 and Nov. 6. Dallas opens NBA Cup Group Play against the Houston Rockets on Oct. 30 and hosts the Utah Jazz on Nov. 6.
Seats for Heroes, presented by American Airlines, is Jan. 7. Dallas honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan. 18, when Oklahoma City makes its second trip to American Airlines Center, then holds City Edition Night, presented by Chase, on Jan. 23.
African American Heritage Night, presented by Jack Daniel’s, opens a four-game homestand on Feb. 6. San Antonio returns Feb. 9 for Heart Health Awareness Night, presented by UT Southwestern Medical Center. Lunar New Year, presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts, closes the homestand Feb. 11.
Women’s Night on March 9 and Los Mavs, presented by Ford, on March 13 both fall inside a second four-game homestand that runs through March 15. On March 31, against the Denver Nuggets, Dallas holds Brain Health Awareness Night, presented by UT Southwestern O’Donnell Brain Institute. South Asian Night is April 2. Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Chase, closes the regular season April 11 against the Memphis Grizzlies. Collectible Pin Nights, presented by Dave & Buster’s, run throughout the season.

Dallas last sold single-game tickets on Aug. 13, in a window that ran through 11:59 p.m. CT on Aug. 15 and opened the same day the NBA released the schedule. The Mavericks said at the time it was the first time in more than a decade they had done that.
Dallas finished 26-56 last season. Cooper Flagg won Rookie of the Year in his first season, averaging 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists. Mavericks coach Dusty May was hired June 23, three months after winning the national championship at Michigan.
The Mavericks open preseason play Oct. 9 against Houston at The Venetian Arena in Macao as part of the NBA China Games 2026. The regular-season opener is Oct. 21 at Houston at 7:30 p.m. CT.
