‘He Steers The Ship’: Dak Prescott Praises Cooper Beebe, ‘Physical, Nasty’ Dallas Cowboys Offensive Line

FRISCO, Texas — Dak Prescott described the Dallas Cowboys’ offensive line as “physical, nasty” after Monday’s 38-21 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, and he said Thursday that center Cooper Beebe steers the ship.
Dallas ran 38 times for 204 yards at Lincoln Financial Field, and the Eagles did not record a tackle for loss. It was just the second time in the last three seasons that Philadelphia allowed 200 rushing yards in a game, according to NFL.com. Javonte Williams ran 25 times for a career-high 155 yards and 1 touchdown.
Prescott watched the line from the whistle that starts a play to the whistle that ends it, and he came away with a stack of clips from the game.
“Physical, nasty. Just watch them from the time the whistle’s blown to the refs blowing the whistle to end the play. Finishing blocks. These guys take a lot of pride in their job, and they take a lot of pride in their brotherhood,” Prescott said.
“It was fun just to watch that game. So many clips, individual clips and plays that jump out to me that just speaks the character of the men on the offensive line and really their brotherhood and their connection. And so you get a game like that, obviously it feels good. Talking about how real momentum is, that’s momentum for them and allows them to just build,” Prescott continued.
Dak Prescott On Cooper Beebe Running The Show
Beebe is in his third season after Dallas drafted him in the third round, No. 73 overall, out of Kansas State in 2024. Cowboys offensive coordinator Klayton Adams was Kansas State’s offensive coordinator during Beebe’s college career and was part of his development there, according to the team’s website.
Every call at the line starts with Beebe and works outward, according to Prescott.
“He runs the whole ship. Yeah, the Tylers have been playing their ass off and Terence as well, but Beebs, he steers the ship,” Prescott explained.
“I mean, from the time it’s whatever call he’s got to make, getting other guys into calls and the communication starts with him and then works its way outward. He’s playing great ball. He’s a physical player. He loves his game. He loves his teammates. He’s a hell of a center to play with and he’s just a great teammate,” Prescott added.
The Tylers And Terence Steele Up Front
The Tylers are guards Tyler Smith and Tyler Booker. Smith, a Pro Bowler, was a first-round pick in 2022. Dallas took Booker with the No. 12 overall pick out of Alabama in 2025, and he was named to the Pro Football Writers of America’s All-Rookie team after his first season.
Right tackle Terence Steele is in his seventh season with Dallas, which signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Texas Tech in 2020.
Adams spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons as the Arizona Cardinals’ offensive line coach before Dallas hired him in February 2025. The Cowboys (3-4) host the Cardinals (2-5) on Sunday at AT&T Stadium, with kickoff set for noon CT on FOX.
