OWINGS MILLS, Md. — The Baltimore Ravens are not expected to trade running back Derrick Henry before Tuesday’s deadline, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Saturday. Schefter added that Baltimore recently informed Henry it had no intention of moving him.

Henry has 689 rushing yards and 9 total touchdowns this season. He is under contract through 2027 after signing a two-year, $30 million extension with $25 million guaranteed in May 2025.

On Thursday night, the Jacksonville Jaguars beat Baltimore 33-10 at M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens started 4-1 and have lost four straight since. At 4-5, they sit last in the AFC North, 2.5 games behind the first-place Pittsburgh Steelers.

A frustrated Henry fielded questions about his own future after Thursday’s loss.

“I’m not mentioning me going anywhere else,” Henry said. “I’m saying let’s go back to work, try to get better and turn this around.”

Derrick Henry Climbs To Seventh On NFL Rushing List

Against Jacksonville, Henry carried 17 times for 57 yards. He moved into seventh place on the NFL’s all-time rushing list with 13,707 career yards. The sixth-place total on the list is 14,101 yards.

The Tennessee Titans drafted Henry in the second round, No. 45 overall, out of Alabama in 2016, one season after he won the Heisman Trophy. He was the 2020 AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year and is a five-time Pro Bowl selection. Henry signed with Baltimore in 2024 after eight seasons in Tennessee.

Baltimore has been outscored 84-10 in the second half during the four-game skid. Its lone touchdown Thursday, a 65-yard run in the fourth quarter, was the team’s first second-half touchdown since a 30-23 overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons on Oct. 11.

Ravens Turn To Jacoby Brissett After Quarterback Injuries

Lamar Jackson (right thumb) and Tyler Huntley (right toe) were both hurt in last week’s loss to the Buffalo Bills. Undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano made his first career start Thursday and completed 10-of-18 passes for 60 yards and 2 interceptions.

The Ravens traded for quarterback Jacoby Brissett on Friday in a deal with the Arizona Cardinals. Baltimore also checked on Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones before landing Brissett, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport and Schefter reported.

Baltimore now has a mini bye. The Ravens host the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football on Nov. 16, the first of four straight games against teams with losing records. The trade deadline is 3 p.m. CT Tuesday.
