FRISCO, Texas — Kenny Clark called the Arizona Cardinals a physical team with three good running backs Thursday, and the Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle said Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett is a hard man to bring down.

Brissett leads the NFL with 282 pass attempts. He has completed 65% of his passes for 1,600 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions through seven games, ProFootballTalk reported. Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur said Monday that Brissett remains the starter after Sunday’s 30-16 loss to the Denver Broncos.

Brissett, in his 11th NFL season, beat Dallas in the teams’ last meeting. He completed 21-of-31 passes for 261 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for another score in Arizona’s 27-17 win at AT&T Stadium on Nov. 3, 2025.

The length of Brissett’s career has earned Clark’s respect, he said.

“Physical team. I think they got three really good backs. They do a good job running the ball. I mean, Jacoby Brissett, he’s a hard guy to bring down. He’s a big quarterback,” Clark said. “He stands in there and he can make all the throws. He’s been playing for a long time, so I got a lot of respect for him. And, yeah, they do a good job of what they do.”

Kenny Clark On The Cowboys’ Message

Clark is in his 11th season. Green Bay drafted him in the first round out of UCLA in 2016, and Dallas acquired him in August 2025 in the trade that sent Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers.

The Philadelphia Eagles ran for 121 yards in Monday’s 38-21 Dallas win at Lincoln Financial Field. The Cowboys had allowed 4.7 yards per carry entering that game, DSJ reported, citing The Associated Press.

The message to the team before the Eagles game was the same one it has been for a couple of weeks, Clark said.

“I mean, just focus on us. I think that’s really been the message the last couple weeks is make sure we’re just focusing on us and staying steady in our process and playing ball,” Clark explained.

Dallas has not won consecutive games this season, and Clark said that is the goal.

“Yeah, it’s huge. … Man, that’s what we fighting for. We fighting for consistency. So I mean, that’s, that’s the main key for sure,” Clark said.

Quinnen Williams On Opening Drives

Opponents have scored touchdowns on their opening possession in each of Dallas’ last three games. The Eagles opened Monday’s game with a four-play, 75-yard touchdown drive. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers went 73 yards in 15 plays for a touchdown on their first drive on Oct. 8, and Green Bay scored a touchdown on its first possession on Oct. 18.

Defensive tackle Quinnen Williams does not treat the first drive differently from any other, he said.

“By just executing, executing no matter if the touchdown the first drive or touchdown the last drive. Our job is to defend the end zone and to play defense and that’s come down to executing communications,” Williams said.

Dallas (3-4) hosts Arizona (2-5) on Sunday at AT&T Stadium. Kickoff is set for noon CT on FOX.
