FRISCO, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys will play just their third game at AT&T Stadium this season when they host the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, and Dak Prescott said Thursday that Dallas has to turn home games into an advantage.

Dallas beat the Washington Commanders 37-20 at home on Sept. 20 and lost 24-16 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers there on Oct. 8. The Cowboys also lost 34-31 to the Baltimore Ravens in Rio de Janeiro on Sept. 27 and have played road games against the New York Giants, Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers, and Philadelphia Eagles.

The last home game, the loss to Tampa Bay, is part of why Sunday matters to Prescott.

“It’s important and it’s great to be back home. As you said, right, just our third, right, just our third home game. … Even more so important to come back home and get a win after the last time being here at home,” Prescott said.

“And, yeah, you’ve got to win your games at home. That’s a huge advantage. We’ve got to make it an advantage for us. And as you said, haven’t had many, so we’ve got to take advantage of it. And knowing that we’ve got a few more here in the back half of the season, it would be great momentum to create,” Prescott continued.

Dak Prescott Says Momentum Is Real

Dallas has not won consecutive games this season. The Cowboys followed their win over Washington with the loss to Baltimore, and their 34-30 win at Houston on Oct. 4 with the loss to Tampa Bay. Monday’s 38-21 win at Philadelphia snapped a two-game losing streak.

Prescott wants to use the crowd and everything else a home game offers to get two in a row.

“Yeah, momentum’s real. And so just to be able to use it, to be able to get a win, to gain a win on the road, a division win, and to be able to come back home and use this momentum of that win, use the crowd, use all the resources that the game offers you,” Prescott explained. “We’ve got to take advantage of it and use them to our benefit and get two in a row.”

Defensive tackle Quinnen Williams sees momentum coming out of the film room.

“I just think the biggest thing, momentum, would come down to the film. Correcting the things that we need to correct and fixing the things that we need to fix that we did wrong or didn’t do a good job at and build off the things that we did,” Williams said.

Prescott On A Noon Kickoff, CeeDee Lamb On The Road

Sunday’s noon kickoff follows three straight prime-time games: the Thursday night loss to Tampa Bay, a 23-13 Sunday night loss at Green Bay on Oct. 18, and Monday night’s win in Philadelphia.

Not much changes in the days leading up to a noon game, according to Prescott, other than getting to bed earlier.

“I don’t think much change is necessarily leading up to it. Maybe get to bed earlier, understanding that you’re waking up like a normal workday in that sense. So not a lot. It’s not like we haven’t done it before,” Prescott said. “We’ve just got to make sure guys understand the game is going to be on us fast, and we can’t have a slow start. Being a noon game, being where we are, we’ve got to start off at home, start fast. Use it to our advantage.”

CeeDee Lamb does not see the road-heavy start as a bother, he said, “but we would love to be playing at home in front of our fans.” After his first touchdown in Philadelphia, Lamb posted a photo on Instagram showing Eagles fans reacting behind him, with a Cowboys fan in a No. 88 jersey among them.

“Everybody hated me because I scored a touchdown. But that’s fire, though. That’s everything that I’ve dreamt of, and just embracing the whole moment, seeing Philly fans for who they are. I’m glad y’all can see it, too,” Lamb said.

After Sunday, Dallas visits the Indianapolis Colts on Nov. 8. Kickoff against Arizona is set for noon CT on FOX.
