ARLINGTON, Texas — Camden Brown is inactive for the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday against the Washington Commanders at AT&T Stadium. The undrafted rookie was also down for the opener at the New York Giants and has not played a regular-season snap.
Brown is the only undrafted rookie on the 53-man roster. Six rookies made the team out of camp and the other five were draft picks.
Camden Brown Scored Twice In The Preseason Before Making The Roster
Dallas signed Brown after the 2026 draft on a three-year deal worth $3 million. He made a play in each of the three preseason games and scored two touchdowns.
Brown caught 65 passes for 1,079 yards and 14 touchdowns at Georgia Southern last season. His 14 touchdown catches were second nationally. He finished 12th in the country in receiving yards.
CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, And Ryan Flournoy Lead A Six-Deep Receiver Room
The Cowboys kept six wide receivers on the active roster after training camp, including CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens as starters, along with Ryan Flournoy, KaVontae Turpin, and Jonathan Mingo on the depth chart.
Pickens is playing on the franchise tag at $27.1 million. He ranked third in the NFL with 1,429 receiving yards in 2025.
Flournoy caught 2 passes for 22 yards in the opener. He agreed to a one-year extension worth up to $6 million on Sept. 11, reported by Jordan Schultz of The Schultz Report.
Turpin has made three Pro Bowls. He led the NFL in kickoff return yards in each of the last two seasons.
Lamb passed Dez Bryant on Sept. 13 for the fifth-most receiving yards in Cowboys history. He is at 7,460.
Brown is one of seven Cowboys inactives. Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown and safety Malik Hooker are the only two who were ruled out on the injury report.
Dallas is 0-1 after the 28-20 loss to the Giants. Kickoff against Washington is set for 3:25 p.m. CT on FOX.
