‘Pack Your Bags’: Leonard Fournette Rips Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys After Loss To Former Teammate Gardner Minshew II

FRISCO, Texas — Leonard Fournette said he is done with the Dallas Cowboys after their 33-30 overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals, in a clip posted Monday from “4th and South,” the podcast he co-hosts with Jarvis Landry. Fournette took aim at quarterback Dak Prescott and praised Gardner Minshew II, his former Jacksonville teammate.
Fournette brought up the no-trade clause in Prescott’s contract. Prescott signed that four-year, $240 million extension in September 2024.
“That, pack your bags, right? I’m going to say that. Pack your bags,” Fournette said. “And guess what? There was a no-trade clause in his contract. I wonder why. But I know why now. He knew he was going to play like s—. He knew he was going to play like s—.”
“And y’all let my QB at the time for Jacksonville, Gardner Minshew, Mr. Jockstrap himself, the big kahuna, is coming up and do y’all in,” Fournette continued. “Mr. Mustache. Oh my God. Shout out to my brother Minshew.”

Fournette and Minshew were teammates with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019, Minshew’s rookie season. On Sunday, Minshew replaced Jacoby Brissett with 1:35 left in the third quarter and Arizona trailing 17-3. He went 17-of-23 for 188 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions, with all three scores in the fourth quarter.
Prescott went 19-of-29 for 195 yards, 1 touchdown, and 0 interceptions and was sacked 4 times. He also ran 7 times for 20 yards and 1 touchdown. Dallas led 24-10 with 14:20 left in the fourth quarter and did not trail until overtime.
Arizona traded receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., the fourth overall pick in 2024, to the Houston Texans on Oct. 12. The Cardinals entered Sunday at 2-5.
Fournette Says He Would Strip The Cowboys ‘Down To The Studs’
Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said after the game that a coaching change was “not in my mind at this time.” Fournette, addressing Landry directly, said he no longer believes in the Cowboys.
“Jarvis, I’m done with the Cowboys and all this Jerry Jones bulls—,” Fournette said. “I don’t believe nothing. America’s team. It’s dead and gone. Jarvis, you can have it. Listen, if I’m Jerry Jones, I’m stripping everything down to the studs. Everybody go. Everybody. I’m firing everybody.”
Fournette and Landry, both former LSU players and Louisiana natives, launched “4th and South” in March on The Volume. Fournette won a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Landry made five Pro Bowls.
Dallas is 3-5 and visits the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Nov. 8, at Lucas Oil Stadium. Kickoff is set for noon CT on FOX.
