BEREA, Ohio — Cleveland Browns cornerback Tyson Campbell ranked seventh on Bleacher Report’s NFL trade block big board Wednesday, and the Dallas Cowboys were one of two teams listed as potential suitors. Kristopher Knox also listed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who host Cleveland on Sunday.
For Campbell, Knox projected a trade value of a conditional 2027 third-round pick. Knox wrote that the Browns should be chasing 2027 draft capital as they look for a quarterback, and that Campbell could bring some. At an annual salary of $19.1 million, Campbell is on the pricier side, but Knox wrote that he “should interest contenders who need a cornerback.”
Tyson Campbell’s Contract And Trade History
The Jacksonville Jaguars drafted Campbell 33rd overall out of Georgia in 2021. In July 2024, Jacksonville signed him to a four-year, $76.5 million extension. Knox reported that Campbell is under contract through 2028.
On Oct. 9, 2025, the Jaguars traded Campbell and a 2026 seventh-round pick to Cleveland. The Browns sent Jacksonville a cornerback and a 2026 sixth-round pick in the deal. Campbell had started all five games for the Jaguars that season, with 27 tackles and 6 passes defensed. He left Jacksonville with 60 games and 59 starts for the franchise.
With Cleveland, Campbell started 12 games the rest of the way. Knox reported that he allowed an opposing passer rating of 84.8 in coverage. Campbell turned 26 in March and has played 72 career games.

Campbell is one of two Browns on the board. Knox ranked wide receiver Jerry Jeudy fourth, with a projected return of a conditional 2027 fourth-round pick, and listed the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots as suitors for him. In the opener, Jeudy had 2 catches for 26 yards on 4 targets.
Cleveland lost 34-10 at Jacksonville on Sept. 13 in Browns coach Todd Monken’s regular-season debut. Jacksonville led 24-0 at halftime.
On Sunday night at MetLife Stadium, the Cowboys opened their season with a 28-20 loss to the New York Giants. Dallas played that game without cornerback Caelen Carson, who was inactive, and Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart went 23-of-29 for 230 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Dallas gave DaRon Bland a four-year, $90 million extension in 2025. In March, the Cowboys signed Cobie Durant, who had spent his first four NFL seasons with the Los Angeles Rams.
Cleveland visits Tampa Bay at noon CT Sunday, with CBS carrying the game. Later that afternoon, Dallas hosts the Washington Commanders at 3:25 p.m. CT on FOX, and teams have until Nov. 10 to make trades.
