Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić‘s ex-fiancée, Anamaria Goltes, has withdrawn her petition that was seeking child support and attorney fees from Dončić.
Goltes is the mother of Dončić’s two daughters, two-year-old Gabriela and seven-month-old Olivia.
“I am withdrawing my petition for child support with the specific intention of resolving this matter amicably and by a mutual agreement which is in the best interests of our children,” Goltes stated in the responsive plea, which was first obtained by TMZ.
Goltes lives with Gabriela and Olivia in Slovenia. However, she filed her petition in California earlier this year.
Dončić filed an interim injunction with the Slovenian courts in February, seeking immediate contact with Gabriela and Olivia and addressing joint custody and child support.
Dončić announced at the conclusion of the Lakers’ season in May that he planned to spend the summer in Slovenia to be with his daughters and would opt out of competing with the national team in the FIBA World Cup European qualifying games.
“I love my daughters more than anything, and they will always come first in my life,” Dončić posted to social media after the Lakers’ 2026 playoff exit. “As I continue working toward joint custody of my daughters, I have been forced to make a difficult decision between traveling and playing for the Slovenian national team and being with my daughters this summer.”
Dončić led the NBA in points per game and total points in his first full season with the Lakers. However, he missed the 2026 playoffs because of the left hamstring injury he suffered on April 2 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Dončić averaged 33.5 points, 7.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game last season. He’s still searching to win his first NBA championship. The six-time All-Star went to the NBA Finals in 2024 with the Dallas Mavericks, who lost to the Boston Celtics in five games.
A future Hall of Famer, Dončić has career averages of 29.2 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game in the regular season and 30.9 points, 9.2 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game in the playoffs with the Mavericks and Lakers. He signed a three-year, $160 million extension with LAL last year.
Dončić will make $49.5 million next season. He can become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2028 by declining his 2028-29 player option worth $57.4 million.
The Lakers have completely reshaped their roster this summer around Dončić and Austin Reaves. LAL acquired Walker Kessler from the Utah Jazz and signed Quentin Grimes, Sandro Mamukelashvili, Kevon Looney, Collin Sexton, Ziaire Williams and Matisse Thybulle in free agency.
The Lakers did lose LeBron James, Marcus Smart, Luke Kennard, Rui Hachimura and Deandre Ayton from last season’s team. James is on the Philadelphia 76ers, Smart signed with the Houston Rockets, Kennard joined the Phoenix Suns, Hachimura went to the Los Angeles Clippers and Ayton was traded to the Washington Wizards for Jaden Hardy.
According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, Dončić is hosting the entire Lakers roster in Slovenia for a minicamp. The itinerary will include workouts, golf and some Ljubljana tourism and bonding ahead of training camp.
