Dallas Mavericks Offer 32 Years Of Season Tickets In Bounty For Cooper Flagg’s One-Of-One Debut Patch Card

DALLAS — The Dallas Mavericks announced a proposed trade Thursday for the one-of-one Cooper Flagg Rookie Debut Patch Autograph card, offering seven items to the collector who pulls it.

Listed first on the team’s graphic are two premium lower-level season tickets for 32 years. Flagg wears No. 32. The rest of the package covers a signed game-worn Flagg rookie jersey, a postgame photo with Flagg, a private photo shoot with the NBA Rookie of the Year trophy and the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy, a VIP tour of the Mavericks practice facility with a team meet-and-greet, and a private basketball experience for up to 10 guests at American Airlines Center. A road trip to a Mavericks game against the Boston Celtics closes the list, with round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, and game tickets covered.

Fine print along the bottom of the graphic calls the offer a proposed trade. The team posted full terms at mavs.com/bounty.

2025-26 Topps Chrome Update Basketball reached hobby and retail shelves the same day in hobby, jumbo, mega, and value configurations. Flagg’s card sits in the product as a redemption rather than the finished card, so whoever finds it exchanges the redemption with Topps for the signed piece. Nobody had pulled it as of the team’s announcement.

The patch comes from the jersey Flagg wore in the first half of his NBA debut. Against the San Antonio Spurs on Oct. 22, 2025, at American Airlines Center, Flagg scored 10 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and played 32 minutes in a 125-92 loss. He shot 4-of-13 from the field. He was held scoreless before halftime, and his first NBA points came on a 20-foot jump shot to open the third quarter. That jersey sold for $1 million at NBA Auctions in February.

Flagg signed the card July 17 at Fanatics Fest NYC, in a room offstage at the Javits Center. Topps displayed it in a glass case for the remainder of the event, which ran July 16 through July 19.

“I was a little nervous,” Flagg said. “I’ve signed a lot of cards, but that one was a little nerve-wracking.”

The most anyone has paid for a Flagg card is $366,000 in a March auction, Dan Hajducky of ESPN reported. Geoff Wilson, the founder of Sports Cards Investor, told ESPN he once had the card in the $1.5 million range and has since moved his figure to $5 million. Several collectors have posted bounties of at least $1 million of their own, according to Brooks Peck of The Athletic. Peck also reported a $1 million bounty from collector Jared Bleznick on the debut patch card of Spurs guard Dylan Harper.

The Paul Skenes Precedent

Topps introduced the Debut Patch series with Major League Baseball in 2023. The category produced its first seven-figure sale two years later.

On Christmas morning in 2024, an 11-year-old collector in Los Angeles pulled the redemption for the one-of-one Paul Skenes card out of a hobby box he had asked for as his lone present. The Pittsburgh Pirates offered two season tickets behind home plate for 30 years, a softball game at PNC Park coached by Pirates alumni, two autographed Skenes jerseys, and a meet-and-greet with the pitcher. Topps announced in January 2025 that the family had declined. Fanatics Collect sold the card that March for $1.11 million after 64 bids. Dick’s Sporting Goods bought it and displays it at its House of Sport store at Ross Park in Pittsburgh.

Flagg took the stage at Fanatics Fest with ESPN’s Kevin Negandhi on July 17.

“Hold on to it, hold on to it,” Flagg explained. “I think it will gain in value as I go on through my career, so it will be a good piece to hang on to.”

Cooper Flagg’s Rookie Season And The Mavericks’ Offseason

Over 70 games, all of them starts, Flagg averaged 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.2 steals in 33.5 minutes. He shot 46.8% from the field. Rookie of the Year voting gave him 56 of 100 first-place votes ahead of Kon Knueppel, and he was named to the All-Rookie First Team. Late in the season, he scored 51 points against the Orlando Magic, the first 50-point game by a teenager in NBA history. His rookie scale contract runs four years and $62.7 million.

Dallas finished 26-56. Masai Ujiri arrived as president of basketball operations and Mike Schmitz as general manager, and the front office parted with Jason Kidd in May. Mavericks coach Dusty May was hired in June, a week after guiding Michigan to the 2026 national championship.

Rookie Debut Patch Autograph cards for Knueppel, Harper, Ace Bailey, and Derik Queen were produced for the same set.

The Mavericks said they will announce it if the fan who pulls the card comes forward to claim the package.
