Dallas Mavericks’ Cooper Flagg Participates In Shootaround Before Miami Heat Game

MIAMI — Cooper Flagg participated in the Dallas Mavericks’ shootaround Monday morning at Kaseya Center ahead of their game against the Miami Heat. He went through a normal spot-shooting workout. Flagg was listed as questionable on Dallas’ initial injury report with a mild left shoulder sprain.
Flagg left Friday’s 121-105 win over the Indiana Pacers after a flagrant foul and did not return for the second half. The Mavericks announced Saturday that an MRI revealed a mild left shoulder sprain, and he sat out that night’s 122-106 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.
Mavericks coach Dusty May opened his availability before Saturday’s game with the injury report. He did not give a timeline for Flagg’s return.
“Coop had an MRI performed. He has a left shoulder sprain,” May said.
